MEAGAN FREIWALD
Personal Trainer
Meagan was born in Baltimore and grew up on a farm in Virginia. Her fascination with how the body works and how all life is connected led to her undergraduate degree in Biology at Old Dominion University. After school, she spent a few years in Virginia Beach, a health-conscious and active city at the time, and discovered a love for running and outdoor activities, as well as a developing passion for nutrition to complement her active lifestyle. This passion led to continuing her education for a Graduate Certificate in Nutrition at George Mason University. One of the most important and rewarding decisions she’s ever made was to become a Certified Personal Trainer in 2017. After three physically challenging years off-the-grid in Fiji, she wanted to teach others what the body is capable of with goals and a plan after having experienced it personally. Fitness is a necessity, a tool, and an outlet for mind, body, and spirit. Guiding others on that path of discovery brings her joy! Meagan has had the privilege of working with a full spectrum of clients: ages 11-80, young athletes, athletic retirees, teenagers wanting to boost self-confidence in this social media-saturated world, the aging population wanting to prevent falling and improve posture, active adults learning to walking again after injuries, clients navigating neurological conditions, and everyone in between desiring to lose weight and commit to a healthy lifestyle. She loves being on this journey with all of her clients, getting to celebrate their successes with them every step of the way!
