
Client of the Month: Khalil Mack
I came to FFS, in February of this year, struggling to figure out how I should be eating, how I should be exercising, and how to control Type 2 diabetes that had gotten out of control. The discovery call that I had with Jennifer only served to validate that I had come to the right place. She explained what was happening with my body and gave me nuanced details about how my diet and exercise habits were working against my fight against diabetes. She gave me the information in a way that no doctor or nutritionist had before and it clicked for me.
What I have found at FFS are knowledgeable staff who create a fun and welcoming environment. The approach is tailored to each client’s needs. Most importantly for me, they help me understand what is going on with my body and how certain exercises, foods, and supplements can help. They have done a wonderful job at creating a community feel. I have worked with several FFS trainers and have been impressed with each of them. I’ve worked with Sophia the most and am thankful for her. She is meticulous, detailed, warm, and we have lots of laughs in each session. Her workouts are sneakily exhausting :-).
Lastly, I’ll share what has had the greatest impact on me during my time with FFS, so far. After my first 90 days with FFS, I shared bloodwork results with Jennifer in a nutrition session. We did a comparison of before and after, and the progress was evident. She was so excited and happy for me. She celebrated me and told me that she was proud of me and she genuinely was. That touched me and that day I realized that the folks at FFS are exactly who they advertise themselves to be. They empower, educate, and encourage.

A Note From His Trainer
We’re thrilled to shine this month’s spotlight on someone who has been making waves here at FFS—Khalil.
In just six months, Khalil has shown what’s possible when consistency, effort, and a positive mindset come together. His transformation has been nothing short of inspiring, and it’s been a privilege to witness his growth firsthand. From improved strength and flexibility to noticeable gains in mobility, Khalil continues to exceed expectations with every session.
What makes this spotlight especially meaningful is that Khalil was actually my very first solo client here at FFS. Working one-on-one with Khalil has been a joy—his commitment and progress have truly set the tone for what a strong coach-client partnership can look like.
A few months ago, I considered nominating him for Client of the Month, but I had a feeling he was just on the edge of something even greater. And then came the confirmation: updated bloodwork results showing just how much his lifestyle changes have paid off—physically, nutritionally, and holistically.
Khalil, your journey is an inspiration to all of us. Congratulations on being named Client of the Month—this is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where your hard work takes you next!
