I started Fredericksburg Fitness Studio in 2008 to create a holistic wellness space where people of all ages, sizes, and abilities feel safe, supported, and empowered on their health journey. I am a board-certified registered dietitian and a comprehensive master-level Pilates instructor.

Fitness has been a lifelong passion of mine. From playing basketball growing up to strength training through college, running a few marathons, and now focusing on functional, longevity-based training — movement has always been a huge part of who I am. I believe exercise should make you feel good, keep you strong, and help you live a pain-free life.

Philipp Scherer

Personal Trainer

Philipp Scherer grew up in Bristol, Virginia, and later spent eight years living in Colorado Springs before returning to Virginia. His passion for fitness began early—at just 10 years old—when he started training with a pair of dumbbells and a neighborhood jungle gym. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong commitment to movement, strength, and overall health.
