Physicians often give patients recommendations to exercise without specific instructions. Without a knowledgeable trainer, exercising on your own could lead to injury, little to no progress, and limited motivation. That’s where we come in.

 


In Home Post-Rehab/Medical Exercise Training that provides preventative and therapeutic services to help with chronic disease management. These chronic diseases include but are not limited to: cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic (thyroid, diabetes), or musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.

We bring the equipment to you and will incorporate the use of any equipment you have at home.

Fredericksburg Fitness Studio will create a customized program designed specifically to improve your overall condition, all while being in the comfort of your own home. This is ideal for those individuals who physically cannot come to the studio. Our goal will always be to help you “Get Fit For LIVING Life!”

 


 

How In Home Training Works

Fredericksburg Fitness Studio will come to your home for your free consultation. During that time, we will review your health history with you and recommend the best program. Your trainer will then conduct a 12-point musculoskeletal screening to ensure there are no red flags that would impede the start of your program. We will also conduct an initial assessment to get a baseline for our programming. Upon completion of your screening and assessment, a medical release will be faxed to your physician(s) informing them of your intent to begin your Medical Exercise or Post Rehab training program. After they have given clearance, your training program will begin!

General Fitness

Are you living with weakness, pain, fatigue, balance, or ambulation issues? Our trainers combine their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to isolate and address the cause of your concerns.

Post-Rehab Fitness

Decrease your risk of recurrent hospitalization! Allow us to help you continue with your journey of health and independence after you are discharged from the hospital or physical therapy.

Pre-Hab:  Fitness Before Surgery

Reduce your orthopedic recovery time! Ask about pre-surgery exercises to be ahead of the game!

Individual or Group Sessions Available

Laughter burns more calories and engages core muscles. Invite a friend or even a clubhouse full, and have more fun with your workout. Ask about our partner/group rates or referral discounts.

We serve clients within a 10 mile radius of Fredericksburg. Travel fees apply for locations outside this area. Please contact us to confirm if we can service your home.

No special equipment is required. Our trainers bring any necessary tools, bands, or small weights to provide a safe, effective session tailored to your needs.

All sessions are led by certified medical exercise specialists, exercise physiologists or certified personal trainers depending on your program.

Yes! Every program is customized to your health history, current fitness level, and any medical conditions. Safety is our top priority.

Sessions typically last between 45–60 minutes, depending on your needs and goals.

A referral is not required to start, but we may request medical clearance for clients with complex medical conditions to ensure your safety.

Coverage varies by insurance provider. Some plans may reimburse for medical exercise or post-rehab training, especially if prescribed by your physician. We recommend checking with your insurance company before booking.

We ask for at least 24-hour notice to reschedule a session. Our team will work with you to find a convenient make-up time.

Yes! We can customize sessions for couples or family members, but each participant’s health needs and goals will be addressed individually.

Frequency depends on your goals and health needs. Most clients start with 1–2 sessions per week, with adjustments made as progress is evaluated.
