Jennifer offers personalized fitness programs to clients and equips individuals with the motivation, education and tools to empower them to lead a healthy and rewarding lifestyle. A firm believer in personal training, Jennifer is dedicated to encouraging healthy eating habits and consistent exercise to achieve lasting health and fitness results. She has a background in studying human physiology, anatomy, as well as nutrition, weight training and exercise. Her motto is, "Get Fit For Life!"


Megan Lovell

Megan has been in the health and wellness field for the past three years. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Tampa. Megan worked as an Olympic Sports Performance Intern at Duke University and then served as a Co-Director for Strength and Conditioning at the University of Mary Washington before joining the Fredericksburg Fitness team.

Megan has a passion for health and wellness that she wants to share with everyone. She enjoys learning new skills in this field and being able to share them with her clients. She hopes to help everyone she works with achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall health and wellness.

Sara Wengstrom

Assistant Fitness director

Sara found a love for helping people with their fitness journey four years ago after personally experiencing the empowerment and positive impact exercise and nutrition can have on a person’s life. During her time at Virginia Tech, she worked with many different populations coaching weight training, metabolic conditioning, and gymnastics. Sara enjoys learning about exercise and nutrition science and is always striving to learn new evidence based information to apply in her training with her clients to further their success.  

Her favorite training motto is, "be better than you were yesterday." She works to teach her clients that fitness is a  journey and a lifestyle that can, and should be, fun and enjoyable!

Kim Weir

Kim grew up in Fredericksburg, VA where her passion for health and wellness began at a young age. She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. She received her Bachelor's degree from Bluefield College, in Bluefield, VA. During that time she was able to organize and lead her school's intermural tennis team. From there, her passion to help people and eagerness to learn about the human body led her to enroll in Massage Therapy school at Eastern Virginia Career College. Since 2010, she has worked under the care of chiropractors & physical therapists. Kim has continued to expand her devotion to health and fitness by becoming a personal trainer. Kim's philosophy is based on a quote by Socrates, "The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new."

Fredericksburg Fitness hires only the best personal trainers. We only accept NASM, ACSM, ISSA or ACE Certified Personal Trainers. We are searching for experienced, professional, responsible, enthusiastic personal trainers who have expertise with strength training, cardiovascular training, nutrition, flexibility, post rehabilitation and other areas in general fitness.

Trainers must be willing to adapt to client's personalities, schedules, and address a wide variety of fitness goals. All Fredericksburg Fitness personal trainers must be unyielding in their efforts to help clients achieve their best in personal fitness. Fredericksburg Fitness has extremely competitive salaries and rewards its trainers through raises and incentive programs for those trainers who retain and refer clients to the company.

Fredericksburg Fitness believes that it is of utmost importance that our clients experience one of a kind personal training. Therefore, we only hire Personal Trainers who are passionate about fitness and love helping people achieve their fitness goals.
