The plank is one of the best exercises you can do for your core. It is an isometric exercise that strengthens your whole body. The plank helps to improve flexibility by building strength in the core, shoulders, arms, and glutes; and will also improve posture if performed regularly. You don’t need any equipment for this exercise, and you can increase the intensity by widening your stance and bracing yourself with your hands instead of your forearms and elbows!
